Thanks for sharing your new toy. The acrylic from the pic looks thick and sturdy which is a plus for me. Always wanted a cone skimmer after hearing so many positive reviews about them. Just a few quick questions:
1. Is the white square base made of soft material to reduce the vibration?
2. Where does the water come out from the skimmer? Does it leak fine bubbles into the sump/tank?
3. Is the pump made by the company themselves? If not, what brand is it?

1. no, it's just white acrylic, I used some 1/4" round gel pad that I get from home depot for vibration damping.
2. water drains from the lowest possible place on any skimmer. drains out from the white base plate from underneath the motor.
3. it's EDEN pump, who also is an OEM for Eheim compact series pump.
