but it';s fresh water........about $12 AUD

fresh water have many fish like it,for example塘虱鱧,磯塘鱧

yes,it';s savaged and eat everything
i think it';s 汽水區魚類

the one i saw in the pet shop is not very big, about 3cm to 5 cm.
but more blue colour around top fin. in the wild this kind of fish are live between river and sea.(may have salt water one)
they call " blue fin sleepy cod", but i not sure it is same as your fish.
I don';t know this inform ation is useful to you, that is all i know
